IWP Dansk recently finished restoring over 500 windows as part of a refurbishment project for the Ministry of Defence working with Galliford & Try.
During this project we picked up more work including hot blasting traditional metal windows for a full refurb and also removal and re-applying all the necessary window film to bring the single glazed windows up to MOD specification.
This project brought some challenges as it not only had to meet MOD’s strict specifications but also as the building is grade II listed.
However, this was no problem for the IWP Dansk team, who were able to deliver beautifully restored windows and doors which were the main feature of this impressive building.
The building has been around for centuries housing our amazing armed forces and will now continue for many more to come and we have been thrilled to be part of that especially as the project also won the Constructing Excellence Award for its modernising whilst preserving the historical significance of the fabric of this listed building.
We are delighted to be part of the award winning team and want to congratulate everyone who was involved in the restoration project and to all our staff that helped not only restore this beautiful building but also help it win an award! Our satisfaction is always in pleased clients and a flawless finish but it is always nice to be recognised for our great work!
