Warcop House is a large 13 bedroom grade II listed Georgian property, located in the historic Cumbrian village of Warcop.
Dating from the 19th Century, the main house with its imposing portico pillared entrance, had its first floor windows originally refurbished by us prior to the whole site being put on the market. This included repairing and draught-proofing, reprinting and redecorating all first floor windows, the biggest challenge being the replacement of the head on the arched stained glass window.
The house, standing in 5 acres of gardens and grounds including a walled kitchen garden, meadow and orchard and former coach house and cottage (previously an Inn) has recently been sold. The purchasing family are now renovating the house and outlying buildings to their former glory.
IWP Dansk has now been invited to help further restore the 250 year old house by repairing and restoring the original sash windows in order to give the property a new lease of life for the 21st Century.
